Hey friends, happy Monday!

If you’ve been reading this for a while, you know I LOVE all things Uusi. They have an incredible aesthetic and beautiful writing in their guidebooks.

Today I felt drawn to work with Supra, so here we go…

the cards

Before you scroll down, pick a card above first!

Take your time, breathe, listen to your body, then choose ☀️

one

Thinking

“Through this process of logical thought, we probe the riddles of nature; categorizing, naming, calculating and efficiently ordering the world around, and inside of us.”

We use our minds and our ego to make sense of what IS. Thinking isn’t bad, but it can throw us for a loop if it takes the driver’s seat too often.

It’s a coping, planning, and survival pattern that temporarily separates us from the whole that we are inextricably a part of. Sometimes thinking brings us a sense of control (that we never actually have), and sometimes it invites anxiety and stress.

Like all things, thinking is a useful strategy and tool if kept in balance with the acceptance of what IS and our part in the greater whole.

If you are experiencing stress and anxiety at high levels, it is likely that your mind is seeking to soothe you by means of controlling a plan or outcome.

Try to sit in a space of just being. You are here. Control is an illusion, at best.

Take some time to disconnect your mind from your reality. Stare at a plant. Take a bath or nap.

Breathe.

two

Imperfection

“As long as we appreciate and grant it integrity, the invisible force will lead us to the horizon of who we are to become.”

This is such powerful medicine.

We are conditioned in our culture to see fault, brokenness, other, and imperfection. Not only that, but imperfections have a troubling negative connotation.

This card is here to remind you that there is magic in the mess.

What is something that you’re dwelling on lately because it feels broken, not the way you thought, or slightly damaged?

What if you could find the gift in the things that don’t work the way you expect them to, or look the way you want them to, or act the way you think they should?

How freeing might that be, to just accept what is? Learn from the imperfection and embrace it.

three

Daemon

“To be in the grip of our Daemon is to be obsessed with a peculiar magic.”

The Daemon—or your higher Self, your muse—is what takes you to that place of overwhelming creativity.

Have you ever gotten “into” something and it kind of takes over?

Like, maybe you decided to re-do a room in your home and suddenly all you’re filling your free time with is trips to Home Depot, in between rearranging, organizing, and searching for new items to make your space feel complete…for like half the month nonstop.

Or perhaps it’s a new hobby (for me, I go through knitting spurts) where I’m obsessed with new yarn, new patterns, and all of my time is spent testing everything out until I get it right.

Now is the perfect time to ask your higher Self: how can my creative energy be put to good use?

Get in that garden. Learn to cook a new dish. Whatever it is, harness the oddly obsessive and creative nature that wants to come out.
